Cherrill Farnsworth serves as the EVP for Healthcare North America for WNS, a global business outsourcer, and is Chairman of the latest company that she founded, HealthHelp. In this role, In her WNS role, Cherrill is responsible for sourcing potential acquistions in North America in healthcare. HealthHelp that oversees the management of high-tech, high-cost healthcare specialty spend for health plans. In this capacity HealthHelp’s oversees the quality and safety of more than 58 million Americans in radiology, cardiology, oncology, sleep, and musculoskeletal episodes of care. Cherrill is considered a national expert on changing health care regulations and an entrepreneur who has started and sold seven successful companies. Since 1984, Cherrill has been a regular spokesperson for healthcare management and reform before the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). She has testified on the need to regulate quality in radiology at the House Ways & Means Committee and Congress. She is also a member of the National Quality Forum (NQF), which was formed by the US Senate in response to the Institute of Medicine's report on medical mistakes. In recognition of her achievements, Cherrill has received the KPMG Peat Marwick High Tech Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The National Association of Specialty Health Organizations has named her ‘Most Influential in Specialty Health.’ Under her progressive leadership, HealthHelp has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the US by various leading publications.
