About

James joined One Source Risk Management as Vice President of Structured Solutions.  His focus is developing custom assurance solutions which support enhanced liquidity, margin expansion and risk mitigation strategies.  Further, James leads the firm’s development of targeted on-demand payment bond facilities which provide participants with a proven alternative to the traditional security posting obligations.  Lastly, James’ career experience in leading risk control and reporting organizations in the energy sector provides a unique perspective and underlying ability to participate as a partner in developing value-added programs.

Prior to joining One Source, James was Vice President – Risk Control and held responsibility for the management and oversight of market risk control, credit, contracts administration and policy compliance activities.  He was responsible for market risk analytics, portfolio performance monitoring, trade capture validation and product development.  James also leveraged technology platforms to develop, implement and support enhanced performance reporting for the asset management, origination and wholesale trading segments.

James earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his juris doctor from the University of Houston Law Center.  He is a certified public accountant and a member of the State Bar of Texas.
